ENIGNEERING TECHNICIANS AND TECHNOLOGISTS

Role Description
AG Engineering is currently seeking skilled and experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technicians/Technologists to join our team. Successful candidates will have a background in design and construction of commercial, institutional, and/or light industrial building electrical systems, with technical knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop schematics, building design layouts, and engineering details using AutoCAD or Revit Software.
  • Develop software models for study and analysis of distribution, transmission equipment, and other.
  • Assist in the development of technical documents such as specifications and construction documents.
  • Perform site review and inspections locally and remotely. Travel throughout Canada will be required.
  • Attend and conduct meetings with clients, colleagues, and members of the public.
 
Qualifications
  • Technician or Technologist Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. (C.Tech or C.E.T. designation preferred)
  • Minimum 2-years experience in their field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Criminal Record Check required (working in sensitive sectors).
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical design software (AutoCAD and Revit Software).
  • Proficiency in document development software (Word, Excel, Adobe)
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication, public speaking, and teamwork abilities. (English speaking required)

Minimum Offer
  • Competitive starting salary (hourly): $27/hr. (Potential for increase based on work performance)
  • 2-weeks vacation annually.
