Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop schematics, building design layouts, and engineering details using AutoCAD or Revit Software.
- Develop software models for study and analysis of distribution, transmission equipment, and other.
- Assist in the development of technical documents such as specifications and construction documents.
- Perform site review and inspections locally and remotely. Travel throughout Canada will be required.
- Attend and conduct meetings with clients, colleagues, and members of the public.
Qualifications
- Technician or Technologist Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. (C.Tech or C.E.T. designation preferred)
- Minimum 2-years experience in their field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Criminal Record Check required (working in sensitive sectors).
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical design software (AutoCAD and Revit Software).
- Proficiency in document development software (Word, Excel, Adobe)
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication, public speaking, and teamwork abilities. (English speaking required)
Minimum Offer
- Competitive starting salary (hourly): $27/hr. (Potential for increase based on work performance)
- 2-weeks vacation annually.
